Doron Amir, the entrepreneur from “The Best in Cyber”, in cooperation with CyTaka, held the Northern Cyber Championship in Kiryat Shmona, last week (January 5th 2023), in cooperation with Mayor Avichai Stern and the former Director General of Israel’s National Cyber Directorate, Yigal Unna.
The President of the State, Yitzhak “Bougie” Herzog, who previously served in Unit 8200, welcomes Doron Amir’s initiative: “You were privileged to be part of an event that is a stage that most clearly reflects the Israeli qualitative advantage. You have been granted the opportunity to prove your talent – your talent, the talents of a generation the future, and your ability to operate in the network spaces in the face of renewed challenges.

CyTaka promotes education and excellence in cyber and following previous cyber competitions in Israel held in the Negev, Tel Aviv, and Kiryat Ata, so far over NIS 1 million in prize money has been shared with cyber experts working to promote positive cyber.
